Rubber Bracelets are Born

Do you recall the whole Lance Armstrong Yellow LiveSTRONG silicone rubber bracelet phenomenon?  Well, I sure do.  It was insane.  It was for a great cause, it’s true; however, all the hype and millions of little yellow silicone wristbands that were sold is almost incomprehensible.  In fact, what appeared to be an obviously ephemeral fad caught my attention so much that I found myself discussing it in detail with my good friend and confidant, Jeff Blemaster – *****!!!!!!! A Custom Silicone Bracelet Company is Born

Jeffrey Blemaster and I discussed the incredible opportunity.  These little yellow rubber bracelets were everywhere.  In addition, a bunch of copycat LiveSTRONG wannabes starting popping up as well.  However, Jeff and I focused in on the ability to customize these silicone wristbands.  The applications were endless:  Elementary, Junior, and Senior High Schools, Church Groups, Corporate Promotions, Non-Profit Group Fundraising, Political Campaigns, Raising Awareness, College Fraternities and Sororities, ad infinitum…  After considering the possibilities, I did the only thing I could think of – I started a Custom Silicone Rubber Bracelet Company, www.TheAwristocrat.com.  Mr. Jeff Blemaster had other commitments, but fully supported my decision and shared in my excitement.
 
Rubber Bracelets Grow Up

Almost immediately, my company started taking dozens of orders a week for custom silicone rubber wristbands.  It was not long before those dozens of orders each week turned into dozens of orders each day.  I was amazed at how many different people, schools, churches, companies, and other organizations from around the world wanted their own personalized custom made rubber bracelets.  Some used these silicone wristbands to raise awareness.  Others used the custom rubber bracelets to raise funds for charity.  Even others used them as giveaways and incentives.  Regardless of whom or for what purpose, the orders continued to pour in.  This little rubber bracelet thing wasn’t going away.  No longer did I consider it a fad.
 
A Custom Silicone Bracelet Company Grows Up

It’s been two years now since I entered the custom silicone rubber bracelet industry.  It’s been a wild non-stop ride that doesn’t appear to be slowing down any time soon.  My company, CAS Enterprises, has expanded to include unique fundraising ideas (www.theawristocrat.com/fundraising.php) and promotional products (www.theawristocrat.com/promotional-products.php); however, those little rubber wristbands are still the core driver of our business.  Recently, Jeff and I were reminiscing.  I won’t recount the entire conversation here; however, one comment bears repeating (I won’t say whose), “!@#$%^& INCREDIBLE!”
