There are two ways to create your life. You can create it consciously and in full awareness of the process of creation or you can create it unconsciously with no idea why your life unfolds the way it does. When you live your life unconsciously you are basically sleepwalking through life.
This article was written to help wake up the sleepwalkers of this world because in this awakening you will open yourself to who you really are. You are more than just your mind. You are more than just your body. You are a mind, body, spirit being who possesses the ability to create your life as you choose.
When you are sleepwalking you are not aware of this. You think you are a separate body traveling this earth with no direction or guidance except what other people have told you is the right thing to do. You suppress the natural truths within you and apply the principles of the separation paradigm to your life decisions.
Your guiding principle is to gain points in the game of life by being a winner. Some people find this too taxing and just give up. They resort to expending minimal effort at a job they hate, in order to come home and sit in front of a box that shows them pictures of how they should be and tells them to not worry about anything.
If you are sick we make a pill for you. If you like sports, we will do it for you. You just watch. If cooking is a strain we will give you cardboard food that you can get without leaving your car. If your chosen representatives (usually chosen by other people because you were too lazy to vote) choose to invade other countries to exploit them for oil or cheap labor, don't worry yourself about it. They know what is best for you.
If your religions tell you that it is okay to kill other people because they don't believe the same way you do, you should accept that as gospel. If you don't like the people and events in your life, you can judge them to be 'wrong' and thereby assign labels to them, which limit the effect they can have on you.
If you don't like yourself, you can assign labels to yourself that limit you in what you perceive to be your abilities and talents. You can remove yourself from the responsibility for your own life and any responsibility you have as a steward of the planet that sustains you.
You can continue sleepwalking or you can wake up. It is your choice.
This book encourages you to wake up and be aware of who you really are. Who you really are is joy, truth, and love. Does that describe who you think yourself to be right now? If not, then WAKE UP!!! You are being shaken to try to wake you up. It is your choice whether you wake up, but it is really important that you do so.
It is important that you wake up from the world of the sleepwalker who believes in the paradigm of separation. From what we can observe, this separation mentality does not serve us. It does not serve us individually and it does not serve us collectively.
We have experienced this paradigm for over 2,000 years of recorded history, and if we could project out for 2,000 years in the future all we can see is more of the same. There is no end to the trouble, turmoil, and strife that is inherent to this fear-based method of thinking.
Most of us have been conditioned from birth, both individually and collectively, to live within the paradigm of separation but I want to remind you right now that we are at choice in all things.
If we choose individually to experience the paradigm of oneness we will individually come to know the peace, harmony and joy of this experience. This individual choice will influence others to create this experience as well, because they will see the transformation in you.
They will see that you live your life peacefully, without effort, and with an 'attitude of gratitude.' They will inquire as to why you are so happy and grateful. And you will tell them that you choose to be.
You will tell them that at your core is love and because of that you have chosen to create a life based on the idea that we are all one, and what I do for another, I do for myself. And what I do for myself, I do for another. Because you and the other are one.
We are all in this together. In unity there is infinite strength. In separateness there is naught but the strength of one. One drop of water verses an ocean of water. Which is more powerful? You choose.
Choose to stop living your life unconsciously. Choose to awaken from the life of a sleepwalker. Choose to consciously create your life from the paradigm that says you and everything that exists are all one with your source.
When you make that choice you will begin to truly live by the 'Golden Rule.' Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Because you and all others are one. What you do for all others you do for yourself and what you do for yourself you do for all others. Why? Because we are all one in the big scheme of things.
Look beyond the illusion and know that at the highest levels of your consciousness you are one with the source of everything that exists, seen and unseen. When you wake up you can see this clearly.
