After a marvelous adventure by train through the Ecuadorian Andes, I am returning by the South Panamerican highway to my hotel in Quito-Ecuador, visiting another time all the little villages and attractives of this amazing country, everything I can visited yesterday when my trip started, now I have a review with more charm and warmest.

It’s difficult to tell in words the huge symphony of the landscapes in Ecuador, furthermore you can see any different green hills and mountains in everywhere, and a lot of these dressed with different colors and covered with animals who lives on this.
All of this started very early, in the morning of yesterday, Thursday, when I get on the Tour of Riobamba & Devils Nose Train, with GRAYLINE TOURS ECUADOR.  We departure from Quito Ecuador by South Panamerican highway, to Riobamba city, when we stay one night to get into the train around 07:00 at  Train Station of Riobamba.  In the path, we visit the Cotopaxi National Park, where we found one of the highest active volcano over the world, the Cotopaxi, with an altitude about 19.398 ft above sea level, and it is covered with a big level of snow everyday and it is one of the most magical volcanoes in Ecuador
Then this excursion and around noon, our guide and driver carried us to the Hacienda La Cienega, to take our set menu lunch, and it’s so interesting to know about the important historical situation of this place, because it was built at the ends of XVII century in a marsh land (this situation put the name of this construction), and for this reason the owners had to sow the eucalyptus trees and they absorb the water excess, and since this date these trees grow up in everywhere.  Furthermore, this La Cienega Hacienda afterthat it owns family and family, it belongs to one of the Ecuadorian presidents, Dr. Gabriel Garcia Moreno, and inside this walls lived a lot of important people like: Carlos Maria de la Condamine, Alexander Von Humbolt, Simon Bolivar, Antonio Jose de Sucre, Juan Jose Flores (First Ecuadorian President), Leonidas Plaza Gutierrez, Jose Maria Velasco Ibarra, etc.
After that, we took the lunch at La Cienega Hacienda, a place full of history and prestige, we continue with our trip to the Riobamba city, passing by towns like Latacunga, famous for its festivities as “La Mama Negra”, the first Saturday of  November; by Ambato city, known like the Fruits and Flowers City, for its production about them, and the Carnival festivity and its flowers and fruits parades.
We arrived to the beauty Riobamba city, known also like “La Sultana de los Andes”, it has this name for its location into the Andean mountains and it has the highest mountain in Ecuador, the Chimborazo mountain (20.746 ft above sea level), here we are visiting the oldest church in Ecuador, La Balbanera.  Then this very informative brief excursion in Riobamba city we arrived to another amazing Hacienda of the Ecuadorian Andes, to take our set menu dinner and have a rest to prepare to the activities of our next day.
This day Friday, we started very early, because our train excursion departures around 07:00 am, and it’s very important to tell that this train departures from Riobamba just at this hour, only Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. 
We started this new adventure get on the train roof, after we had prepared by the cold weather in the morning and also the strong sun of the country of the Middle of the World.  This train started this operation step by step and we enjoyed with the beauty landscapes, with colored mountains and incredible moors, a total adventure.
Our first long stop we realized at Alausi, a picturesque village encrusted in the middle of the Ecuadorian Andes, where the train picked up a lot of people anxious to know the famous Devils Nose, then we continue to the Devils Nose, it is a mountain with the shape of the human nose and the name is just to add a mythical name to this tourist attractive, and the construction of this train ways crossed the Andean landscapes and zig-zag shape, it’s inside of the most important engineering pieces at the beginning of  XX century.
The Beautiful sunset at the Cotopaxi makes me come back to reality in the coach that is taking me back to my hotel in Quito, Ecuador, with the remember of having felt in my face the cold wind of the Andean Sights of Ecuador and having in my eyes one by one all the images of this beautiful tour. I can not wait to come back soon again and also go back and tell my friends of this excursion that they can not miss, if they come to this beautiful country.
