Commitment to self is spirituality information in a nutshell. You must prioritize yourself in the living of your life. So simple. So profound.

Have you ever known that you have to do something but you cannot seem to get yourself to do it? That is a rhetorical question because we have all been in that place where we know we have to take action, but somehow we would just rather think of doing anything except what it is that we really need to do. “Has that ever happened to you?” I already know the answer. YES!

It happens to all of us.

So what do you do when you want to break out of your slump and more forward on your goals?

I think it's time to re-examine what it is that you are trying to accomplish. Go to the end result and see if it is worthy of your action. After all, if you take a look at what you really want and you find that you don't really want it enough to take action on it then there is no need to take action. So examine what you desire with a critical eye and you will know right away if it is something you really, really, really want.

If you really, really, really want it then you will be able to see the value in the action that is necessary to achieve it. You see, we all ultimately do the things we don't necessarily want to do because we see the higher purpose in doing them. There is something beyond the obvious that attracts us and is more important than the procrastination that inhibits our action.

All goal-seeking Gurus' tell you that “Action” is the critical element in reaching your goals. You can't just want them and think about them positively and visualize them in your experience, you must take action to move the universe.

By thoughts the things you want are brought to you but it is by action that you receive them. Doesn't that make sense? It should because it is only through action that you can activate the mechanisms of transference from the non-physical thinking part of your creation to the actual manifestation of your creation into physical form.

Action, action, action.

It doesn't have to be hard and physical. It can be slow, methodical and subtle, but it must take place. Every little thing you do (action) moves you in the direction of your quest. Every big thing you do takes you there quicker. Constant progress and keeping your eye on the prize is critical in order to reach your goal.

I wrote this article because I am procrastinating on a project that I know I need to take action on and I know that I really, really, really want it, and I know that there is a much higher purpose that will serve me when the action is taken, so I want to thank you because this article has been very therapeutic for me.

I am going to finish now because there is something I have to do, the doing of which is going to serve me very well in taking me to a place that I desire to be. Thank you very much.
